This service keeps your two most visible marketing assets alive: your Google Business Profile and your search ads. Every week we post, update photos and services, answer questions and trim ad spend. Ads stay under a monthly ceiling you approve, aimed at the streets your crew can reach in reasonable time from where they work.
What it is
When someone in a new suite near Burquitlam station searches for an electrician or a cleaner, two things usually appear first: paid search results and the map listings. This service looks after both.
The profile half is the routine most owners let slide. Google rewards listings that look accurate and active: current hours, the right categories, fresh photos, answered questions and recent posts. The ads half is about control. Search ads can bring calls within days, but only if keywords, areas and budgets are watched. Left alone, they drift into searches you never wanted to pay for.
Who it is for
It suits trades that want calls soon, not in six months. It also fits owners who tried ads before and stopped because they could not see where the money went.
It works well for:
- mobile trades whose crews cover Burquitlam, Lougheed, Austin Heights and nearby parts of Burnaby, Port Moody and New Westminster
- businesses with urgent services, such as lockouts, leaks or power problems in a suite
- new companies with no reviews yet, which need visibility while proof builds
If your calendar is already full for two months, ads are probably not your problem. Start with reviews and repeat-work follow-up instead and keep the ad budget for slow season.

Profile care, weekly
- one or two posts, often drawn from job proof publishing
- photo uploads and old-photo cleanup

Search ads, weekly

- a monthly spend ceiling you approve in writing
- weekly trimming of terms that cost money without producing calls
Timeline
The profile cleanup takes about a week, assuming you can verify ownership. Ads are built in week one or two and launched at a low ceiling. The first month is a learning period; by month two, we know which searches produce calls and adjust from there. Ad spend is paid to Google directly and is separate from the plan fee, as set out on the pricing page.
How results are measured
Every number connects back to work, not attention:
- calls and texts from the profile and from ads, through tracked numbers
- cost per call and cost per won job for ads
- profile actions: calls, direction requests, website visits
- the searches that triggered ads, and which ones we blocked
A worked example: if the ceiling is $1,200 a month and ads bring 24 calls, each call cost $50. If one in three becomes a job, each won job cost $150 in ad spend. Compare that to your margin per job, and you know whether to raise the ceiling or rethink the offer.
Mistakes to avoid
- Listing a home address you do not want public. Mobile trades should usually hide the address and list service areas.
- Keyword stuffing the business name. Adding "Best Burquitlam Plumber" to your profile name breaks Google's rules and risks suspension.
- Broad keywords with no blocked terms. You pay for job seekers and do-it-yourselfers.
- An area too wide for your crew. Calls from far away cost money and often end in a no.
This upkeep is part of the marketing desk and also sold alone. We run your listing and ads; we never do the trade work. For one-off corridor campaigns, the team at Burquitlam.Agency runs focused builds.
Frequently asked questions
How much should I spend on ads?
Start from what a won job is worth to you and how many more jobs your crew can take. We usually suggest a low ceiling for the first month, then raise it only when the calendar and the cost per won job both support it. Ad spend is separate from our plan fee.
Can you target only certain buildings?
Not building by building. Google ads target areas, not addresses. We draw the area around the streets you want and exclude places you do not serve, then write ads that mention the neighbourhood.
Do I need a storefront for a Google Business Profile?
No. A service-area business can hide its address and list the areas it serves instead. That is the right setup for most mobile trades, and it follows Google's guidelines.
What if my profile was suspended or has duplicates?
We work through Google's own reinstatement and duplicate-removal steps with you. We cannot promise Google's decision, but we can make sure the information is accurate and consistent.
